Philo Insulation installed Cafco BlazeShield II to the structural steel in this 300,000 SF medical office building for NorthStar Construction in Allentown. This well-appointed building also boasts areas where our installed fireproofing was left exposed as an architectural finish. The neatly sprayed fireproofing was painted white and track lights were installed to create a truly eye-catching office. |

The owner of this home was renovating a garage to create a study - and had very specific ideas about how he wanted the space to look. Wanting to showcase the beams, we spray foamed the ceiling area and then installed Cafco 400 cementitious fireproofing to provide the required thermal barrier. The owner got everything he had hoped for—an architecturally stunning space that met code—without every having to deal with drywall. |

Costing about the same as traditional dampproofing systems, InsulBloc adheres directly to the block wall creating a seamless moisture and air barrier that operates at a more highly efficient level than traditional foam board. |

The home featured here was insulated with NCFI high-density spray foam. The owner of this home suffers from allergies and therefore chose spray foam—the closed-cell foam blocks out air and moisture infiltration—therefore eliminating mold and mildew problems and the passing through of outside irritants. Plus foam doesn’t give off the itchy irritants that fiberglass and cellulose does. |
